One leaf of a reverse swaged hinge is fabricated by forming it toward or beyond the pin to simulate a reverse assembly. In this configuration, the hinge leaves are prevented from closing to a parallel position. A reverse swaged hinge is somewhat opposite of a one leaf full-swaged hinge.
